Ian Somerhalder reveals new Vampire Diaries Season 2 info

Fan sites must have missed this clip, or this was possibly an exclusive clip that was held off since comic con until near the premiere of Season 2. Ian Somerhalder speaks about the New evil heading to Mystic Falls. One thing I do disagree with in this article is that the person on FLIX stated that they believe it's the werewolves, however that is incorrect because the synopsis refers to the werewolves by stating "A new breed of danger" etc and the synopsis later on states Damon and Stefan will face a new evil they never thought possible.


“A new entity of supernatural powers is gonna be coming into Mystic Falls,and it’s gonna create a lot of problems for Damon and Stefan. It may force them to come together. It may force them to have to be a family and protect what’s important to them.”

This truly is amazing and shows the strong support that we, The Vampire Diaries fans, have for our amazing cast. I'm so happy people went to vote because this just wasn't about Damon beating Edward, but it was more about supporting the show in general so we could defeat the twilight base in this competition. Also, Matt Davis, of The Vampire Diaries who plays the character Alaric, stated he would be tweeting a present if Ian Somerhalder won. Once Matt Davis,(@ErnestoRiley on twitter), tweets the gift I will be sure to blog about it later on today. After reading this interview I have a good feeling that Uncle John may still be around for a while. However, you never know because Mystic Falls always has a surprise around the corner.

"What can we look forward to this season?
There’s the big werewolf storyline cooking up. As far as I’m concerned, Elena walks in after Katherine slices my fingers off and stabs me and she’s got a big decision to make. There’s a lot of Katherine and Elena. Nina’s got a lot of work.
Why did John kill Anna?
The fact that she’s a vampire. He saw that she might have dragged my nephew into vampiredom. I don’t think John approved of that. John is Jeremy’s only male figure in his life, so he treats it like a father/son relationship. It was a hard decision for the producers to make, to let her character go."

Chris Colfer's boyfriend has officially been confirmed to be Chord OverStreet.

"Well, "iCarly's" Chord Overstreet was recently cast as Sam Evans, a football-playing transfer student who initially befriends Finn but then becomes his nemesis. Chord is tall and good-looking with straight blond hair and some pouty lips. We'll let the dots connect themselves.

This actually ties in with what Chris expected Kurt's boyfriend to look like when we talked to him earlier this year. He thought that the bf should be the exact opposite of Kurt, which means really similar to Kurt's crush, the jocky Finn.

"I know they are going to be like a power couple. I've heard rumors that they are going to be homecoming kings. But I think someone definitely different from him," Chris said. "So maybe like a Finn, like a jock type. That would be really fun if he looked exactly like Finn!"

I'm super excited that Mason Lockwood (Taylor Kinney) is finally getting coverage!

"Mason has learned to harness his rage and is going to serve as a mentor to Tyler," says Taylor. "I've come to teach Tyler that there are choices he can make to control his destiny as a human...or otherwise."

Nina Dobrev (Elena/Katherine) adds, "Taylor's been adjusting really well. "What else can we look forward to this season?

We’re filming episode three right now, and I can tell you that there is a lot of Lockwood going around. We’re seeing the day-to-day of Tyler, and a lot of scenes take place in my house now. That didn’t happen in season one. I don’t think we got to know Tyler as whole, just an angry, bully of a kid in season one. Now, we’ll be able to see Tyler when he’s calm and not trying to pick a fight with somebody. Episode three is a big episode. There’s something really important that Tyler realizes and there’s a big revelation for Tyler.

Even though his relationship with his father was rocky, do we see Tyler mourn over his death?
Oh yeah. In the season premiere, you will see Tyler and how he deals with the fact that his father is on. All I can say is, it’s not pretty. He takes it pretty rough."

Tiya Sircar to guest star in season 2 of The Vampire Diaries

"Disney veteran Tiya Sircar (“The Suite Life on Deck,” “Hannah Montana”) has joined the cast of popular CW series “The Vampire Diaries” in a guest-starring role as Aimee Bradley, a high school student who becomes involved in the supernatural activities in Mystic Falls. “It’s been so much fun working with such a great cast,” says Sircar. “I’d love to come back for more episodes, but nobody is safe in Mystic Falls! I'm so happy that the cast of The Vampire Diaries is becoming even more diverse and I honestly feel that it's the most diverse show on the CW. I really hope they keep Tiya around because she is a good actress and I feel she will bring another great atmosphere to the show.

Katerina Graham talks about how powerful Bonnie will become in season 2. I for one cannot wait for the premiere of season 2 to see Bonnie come face to face with Katherine!

"Katerina Graham has revealed that her Vampire Diaries character Bonnie will start getting more powerful.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the actress explained that Bonnie will become "even less tolerant" of the vampires.

Miss Mystic Falls episode 19 re-run Tonight.

Aww yes...the episode where Stefan loses his mind and goes on a rampage, but even better this episode marks the return of Bonnie!!
