Ian Somerhalder talks Bromance, Bonnie, Vampire Powers and more with TV Squad

In this article Ian Somerhalder talks about what's to come in Season 2 and other exciting things such as his amazing on screen and off screen bromance with Matt Davis.

"How will Damon be handling Bonnie's big threat?
Bonnie (Katerina Graham) can hold her own, unfortunately, with Damon. Anyone who can put Damon down on the ground -- and not in a sexual way -- is a problem. [Laughs] She's a big problem for him. She's a contender ... I think if anything, she's gonna prove to be useful. Katherine is going to be a major, major, major problem. Katherine is a bigger problem than Damon was in Season 1, because she's three times more sadistic and seductive. I think what she wants is far greater than love, which is even scarier.

I think Matt Davis might be clinically insane, tweeting under a pen name, but fans are loving the back and forth you guys have on Twitter.
What is so amazing is, if in fact he is clinically insane, it is such a beautiful thing. I love that man. We totally have a bromance. Damon and Alaric and Elena spend a little bit of time together this season, and I think I can speak for Matt Davis and Nina Dobrev and myself when I say that we love being together on set. The three of us have a blast when we're shooting stuff." You can read the rest of the article over at TV Squad

Vampire Diaries new promo pics and extended Synopsis

The season premiere episode is going to be outstanding and beyond extraordinary.

"The CW released the official extended synopsis of season 2.
KATHERINE HAS RETURNED WITH A VENGEANCE — Picking up on the same night as last season’s finale, Elena (Nina Dobrev) arrives home to a nightmare as she discovers Uncle John’s and Jeremy’s fate. At the hospital, Sheriff Forbes (guest star Marguerite MacIntyre) is comforted by Matt (Zach Roering), Bonnie (Katerina Graham) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) while she waits to hear if Caroline (Candice Accola) will survive the car accident. After a confusing conversation with Elena about the night’s events, Damon is the first to realize that Katherine (also played by Nina Dobrev) has returned. Katherine’s arrival sends Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon on a path to find out what she wants, why she’s back, and how much of a threat she is to the people they love. Meanwhile, still reeling from his father’s death, Tyler (Michael Trevino) is surprised when his charming and mysterious uncle, Mason Lockwood (guest star Taylor Kinney, “Trauma”), arrives to console the family. Sara Canning also stars. Posted on VampireSite.net - please place a link to the source. J. Miller Tobin directed the episode written by Kevin Williamson & Julie Plec (#201)."

I can't wait for this to hopefully premiere tonight during the re-run of the "Blood Brothers" episode. I will probably edit this post later and type the scenes in the clip, but for now you all should go on ahead and hurry and click play.
