EW: Exclusive scoop

Entertainment Weekly has some awesome spoilers this week on some of our favorite T.V. shows including Vampire Diaries. Here's a little tidbit from the spoiler chat, but make sure to head over to EW to read the rest of the spoiler section for The Vampire Diaries.

"But looking farther ahead, executive producer Julie Plec says we’ll get to see Elena’s and Stefan’s reactions to Damon’s decision to use mind compulsion on local TV news reporter Andie Star (Dawn Olivieri) to make her his substitute girlfriend/blood donor. “We won’t hit that for a few more episodes, but there will be that moment when Damon’s desire to distract himself from his feelings for Elena blow up in his face, and the allure of Andie starts to leave a bit of a sour taste,” Plec says. (Before that happens, will we at least get to see Damon take another bath? “Damn, I don’t know. I might have to go back and do a rewrite,” Plec laughs. “I feel like every time we’re like, ‘Well, we could set this scene in the bathtub… Oh, wait that won’t work.’”)" Read the rest over at EW

I do, and it comes straight from executive producer Julie Plec: “John’s ultimate agenda becomes crystal clear in ‘The Dinner Party,’ but he’ll be blindsided by the fallout from his actions.”

EW: Tyler Lockwood chat

Thank you @CW_VampDiaries of twitter for the heads up. I love this whole interview and the spoilers Michael dishes out.
“We have Tyler, who is a werewolf, who becomes very close to a vampire [Candice Accola's Caroline], who he thinks is the only vampire in town. And then he starts to actually like her. And then once he finds out the truth, he feels a little bit betrayed by her. But then he also wants to hear out Stefan [Paul Wesley], and how he’s saying we can coexist. And then you have Jules and Brady [the friend of Tyler's dearly departed Uncle Mason who Jules was chatting with on the phone in the last episode who soon arrives in town], who are like, ‘No, don’t listen to them. You don’t want any part of that. This is the way it’s supposed to be. We’re not supposed to be friends with them. You shouldn’t be this close to Caroline. Trust me, it’s not good for you.’ So after all this, all these people coming into Tyler’s head, he has to make a move: What does he want to do? Which way is he gonna live?”

Make sure to tune into this Thursdays all new episode of The Vampire Diaries.

The Vampire Diaries: Daniel Gillies talks Elijah and much more with EW.

I'm so happy that Daniel Gillies has finally been interviewed!

"ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: All you really knew about Elijah when you auditioned was that he was an older vampire and incredibly dangerous. What did you bring to the character?
DANIEL GILLIES: I didn’t want him to sound like an American. I remember thinking, I know that this guy’s been living in the States for a couple hundred years, but he’s probably somebody who travels to Europe frequently, probably speaks 10 or 12 languages, including some extinct languages. I wanted him to sound a little bit like Kelsey Grammer [laughs], if that makes any sense. I wanted him to sound like old money from the United States, because I also thought that it lent a weight and, dare I say, dignity to his character, without being too foppish or overly gentrified. I thought there would be a danger in him the more elegant he was. I didn’t see him as a grimacing, arch, mustache-twirling guy ever. I think that’s how some people might have seen him, and I think that was a mistake. I always liked those men who didn’t really do terribly much, but did an enormous amount of damage. He’s much more economical than most. I like the idea that he had economy of movement, of words, of action, of everything." Read the rest of this interview over at EW

EW: Talks Tyler Lockwood, cliffhangers, and much more in this article

EW has released an article full of spoilers talking about Tyler Lockwood's soon to be wolf out and much more.
"The Dec. 9 episode will also serve as the midseason cliffhanger (original episodes will resume in January). Will Tyler’s long-awaited transformation be the actual cliffhanger? “Nope,” Plec says, laughing. “The transformation will happen, but it’s what happens after the transformation that leads us to our midseason cliffhanger. It’s what happens when a wolf makes an appearance to people we don’t want to see coming face-to-face with a wolf. It’s gonna really shake up the world of Damon specifically, and our vampires in general, with the werewolf being their natural enemy. It’s gonna start a new chapter of our show. Tyler won’t be the only werewolf in Mystic Falls by the time we get into the New Year.” You can read the rest of this exciting article over at EW.

Entertainment Weekly's interview with Ian Somerhalder

Ian Somerhalder was named the sexiest beast after beating out the competition about a month ago. However, in this interview he not only thanks the fans for voting for him but he talks A LOT about season 2. [Spoilers Ahead]

"We know from promos that Katherine [Nina Dobrev as the vampire lover who essentially turned the brothers in 1864] says she’s returned for Stefan and never loved Damon. What can you tease about season 2?
Poor Damon. Katherine comes back, and it’s the chicken or the egg thing. In the story, Katherine obviously came before Damon, and Damon learned a lot of his antics from Katherine and then 150 years of cynicism. When I watch Nina be Katherine, it’s crazy, the similarity that you see between Katherine and Damon. She starts wreaking havoc in a very similar way that for most of season 1 Damon wreaked havoc — because he wanted something. You’re gonna see Damon in a way in which you haven’t necessarily seen him before dealing with Katherine and what happens after so many years of longing and wanting to be with someone, being hurt and let down in that extreme manner. It’s a lot of fun watching Katherine and how powerful and manipulative and sexy and crazy she is. It’s a lot of fun to play. It’s brutal for me. [In classic Damon delivery] Damon doesn’t always get what he wants now, which is boring for Ian, but great for the story." You can read the rest of the interview over at EW

Ian Somerhalder defeats Edward Cullen and smashes all of the competition in Entertainment Weekly's Sexy beast competition

Damon Salvatore (Vampire Diaries) defeats Edward Cullen (Twilight) in Entertainment Weekly's Sexy Beast competition. This truly is amazing and shows the strong support that we, The Vampire Diaries fans, have for our amazing cast. I'm so happy people went to vote because this just wasn't about Damon beating Edward, but it was more about supporting the show in general so we could defeat the twilight base in this competition. Also, Matt Davis, of The Vampire Diaries who plays the character Alaric, stated he would be tweeting a present if Ian Somerhalder won. Once Matt Davis,(@ErnestoRiley on twitter), tweets the gift I will be sure to blog about it later on today. Now it's time to celebrate by attempting Damon's divine eye movements that speak without words.

"When the blood, sweat, and broken fangs were wiped away, who was the winner? Let this be the official reveal: Damon Salvatore eked out a mild upset victory over Edward Cullen by a margin of 138,630 to 134,728, a difference of just 3,902 votes." Read the rest of the article over at EW

EW spoiler Article!! Includes Vampire Diaries spoilers along with other awesome shows

Straight from the Ausiello files!

Vampire Diaries Spoiler:

"Question: I just bought the first season of Vampire Diaries and watched every episode back-to-back. Can you help out a new (sleep-deprived) fan with any Season 2 spoilers that may have popped up since Comic-Con? —Brandon
Ausiello:
At Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards, Katerina Graham told us that Bonnie will become “even less tolerant” of the vampires this season. “She is going to become quite the power player among the supernatural [set]. I think she is going to be noticed by some of the big baddies this season. She is gaining powers rapidly this season so I encourage all the villains and the bad boyfriends to stay clear of the Bennett witch!”"
