Michael Trevino has been getting a lot of press lately and I'm so happy about that because he deserves it.

“We’re going into a love triangle with Caroline, Matt and Tyler,” he teases. “But given the circumstances, I don’t think it’s anything that [Tyler or Caroline] are pursuing; it’s just happened. Organically, something is happening between them, and in turn, it makes for a lot of awkwardness between Matt and Tyler.”
Sadly, the awkwardness carries on, making Tyler’s only other friend (besides Caroline) the mysterious new wolf-chick, Jules (Michaela McManus). "1. The wolfman cometh: Tyler (Michael Trevino) will finally wolf out during the Dec. 9 episode. If you think the wait for new episodes will be torturous, the transformation period will be even more torturous for Tyler. “We’ll learn a lot about the mythology and the rules of the transformation over the next two episodes before we actually see it,” says Plec. “You’ll learn that while it gets a little bit easier the more you do it, the first time is not easy.” She adds that the show will not shy away from that painful process. “We wanted to show that in its entirety and really make the most of that because it’s a very, very difficult thing that Tyler is going have to go through and we wanted the audience to be able to experience it with him for the first time.”The experience will be “pretty life altering for [Tyler] in a lot of ways” and have far-reaching effects. “What happens after that is going to be a big part of what happens in Mystic Falls, and how our other characters get involved in Tyler’s story,” says Plec. “A lot of secrets start to come out and it becomes very complicated after he turns.” You can read the rest of this article at L.A. Candice Accola and Michael Trevino seem to be getting a lot of press lately around L.A. in the past few days. I have a feeling it's because of the long awaited episode "By The Light Of The Moon" is growing closer to appearing on our televisions! "Romance or friendship-wise, do you think they're doomed in a way since vampires and werewolves are historically enemies?
It's definitely got a Romeo and Juliet quality to it, the idea of them becoming romantic. Who knows? That didn't end very well with Romeo and Juliet. [Laughs] Hopefully, it wouldn't be that same result for Caroline and Tyler. I don't know. Really, right now, the most prominent thing going on between both of them is finding a safe place for Tyler to transform. It's really about his transformation right now. It's not about anything else, which I think is such a wonderful thing because, for Caroline, any involvement with a member of the opposite sex was immediately sexual throughout the first season. It was immediately like crush-worthy. It wasn't just like a friendship. I think it's just a lovely way of showing that she as a character has grown within the second season. It's more than just about a boy I immediately have to have a crush on. It's a friendship. It's something a little bit more substantial."

Tyler’s Uncle, Mason Lockwood (Taylor Kinney) is coming into town and is a big part of Tyler’s journey this season. Through Mason, Tyler will come to realize some interesting information about the Lockwood Bloodline. Not everything is as it seems, and there are some big surprises down the road. It’s been a lot of fun so far, and I’ve been able to explore this character more this season. Tyler is going to be going through a lot this season and I hope that people are entertained by it. I think fans are going to enjoy the "sneaky" Lockwood family.

Did you have to get more muscular for the new season?
My producers never asked me to bulk up, but I took it upon myself to go to the gym a little more this season.

Will we see Tyler shirtless in season two?

I'm just going to post one thing in particular I LOVED. I'm so excited for The Tyler and Jeremy bromance that is hopefully going to happen and I can't wait for The Vampire Diaries season 2 premiere tonight.

"6. PRETTY RULES BUT…the actors on TVD can all act. Having met most of the cast at Comic Con (Ian!!! You’ve eluded me thus far!) they are just as beautiful in person, nicer than their dark characters but they’re also truly professionals. It shows at press events and it shows on the screen. And, another kudos for casting, Taylor Kinney looks great but also effortlessly becomes part of the fold. And most of last season I hoped Michael Trevino and Steven R. Buzz Sugar interviews Katerina Graham

Buzz: Are we going to see Bonnie kicking ass this season? KG: Oh, yeah, from the jump she's kicking ass. She's going to try — although she might not succeed sometimes, she's going to be trying to kick ass. She's going to be doing her thing.

Buzz: How will the addition of werewolves affect the show?

KG: It completely affects the show, it alters everything that you might have thought the show was gong to be. Werewolves are going to play such an important part this season. I know that notoriously vampires and werewolves don't get along, so that creates a whole other conflict for everyone to deal with, and then Katherine's back, that's a whole other thing. It's so interesting to see how they're all playing with each other. And I don't think any of them are going to play nice.

Buzz: Will Bonnie be discovering more of her powers?
KG: Absolutely. She also discovers things she can do easily and certain things she's learning and still developing. Over time we'll discover more of her abilities, which is always fun for the fans to see.

Images of Mason Lockwood are finally surfacing from the season 2 premiere episode of The Vampire Diaries, "The Return", and this is surely a sign of the Lockwood takeover to occur in season 2 [Fanboying]. I'm now officially even more excited to see the first episode just from seeing these pics!!!

It's sad to see that Tyler is drinking, but I guess this will be one of the ways he might deal with the tragedy of his father in the first episode. Also, Mason Lockwood seems like a complete bad ass. Watch out Damon Salvatore!

I'm super excited that Mason Lockwood (Taylor Kinney) is finally getting coverage!

"Mason has learned to harness his rage and is going to serve as a mentor to Tyler," says Taylor. "I've come to teach Tyler that there are choices he can make to control his destiny as a human...or otherwise."

Nina Dobrev (Elena/Katherine) adds, "Taylor's been adjusting really well. I don't envy when new people come [on set] because we've all already created this family bond, but everyone's really accepted him." The same won't hold true in Mystic Falls, reveals Ian Somerhalder (Damon). "Mason's a really nice guy, but Damon makes it difficult for him to be nice," says Ian. "He really pisses Damon off."

This interview with Michael Trevino has a lot of information such as auditioning the wolves, discussing Tyler Lockwood's character, more scenes with Tyler, and a lot more spoilers about Tyler and Mason.

"What else can we look forward to this season?

We’re filming episode three right now, and I can tell you that there is a lot of Lockwood going around. We’re seeing the day-to-day of Tyler, and a lot of scenes take place in my house now. That didn’t happen in season one. I don’t think we got to know Tyler as whole, just an angry, bully of a kid in season one. Now, we’ll be able to see Tyler when he’s calm and not trying to pick a fight with somebody. Episode three is a big episode. There’s something really important that Tyler realizes and there’s a big revelation for Tyler.

Even though his relationship with his father was rocky, do we see Tyler mourn over his death?
Oh yeah. In the season premiere, you will see Tyler and how he deals with the fact that his father is on. All I can say is, it’s not pretty. He takes it pretty rough."
