Sarah Michelle Gellar talks Ringer with IGN

In this interview Sarah Michelle Gellar discusses the buffyverse, playing two characters, and much more. Make sure to head over to IGN to read the rest of the interview. For the latest updates on Ringer make sure to follow @silentsmg and head over to their website SilentBeauty. Make sure to follow my twitter account Snowballx as well!

"IGN TV: Fans have wanted to see you back on TV again for quite a while. What was it about Ringer that drew you in?

Sarah Michelle Gellar: Celebrity Rehab wouldn't have me! Real Housewives didn't want me. They said I was the most boring housewife in the history of Housewives. [Real Housewives' executive producer] Andy Cohen denied me and said no. So I thought okay, so I can't be on Celebrity Rehab, I can't be on Real Housewives… I know!

It was about waiting for the right script. When you have a show like Buffy, you can't just do anything afterwards. It has to be something that speaks to not just me, but to the audience that was so incredibly loyal to me and that wanted to be challenged – that wanted something different, that wanted to be kept on the edge of their seats. And this is the first thing I read where I really thought, "This works for everybody."

Season 3 Summary of The Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries Season 3 Summary reveals quite a few interesting tidbits. I'm very excited to see if these ghost will lead to something more evil in season 3 or may be in a different unexpected direction.

"8:00-9:00 P.M.           “THE VAMPIRE DIARIES”
Based on the best-selling book series, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is the story of two vampire brothers, obsessed with the same gorgeous girl, who are battling to control the fate of an entire town.  In season one, Stefan and Damon Salvatore returned to their hometown of Mystic Falls, Virginia, for very different reasons.  Stefan was determined to get to know Elena Gilbert, who bears a striking resemblance to Katherine Pierce, the beautiful but ruthless vampire the brothers knew and loved — in 1864.  Damon, on the other hand, was intent on releasing Katherine from the tomb where he believed she was trapped by a witch's spell all those years ago.  In the explosive season finale, Elena's uncle set a plan in motion that saw the return of the vengeful Katherine Pierce.  In season two, Katherine's appearance and her precise manipulation threw a wrench into the love triangle between Stefan, Elena and Damon, and the other residents of Mystic Falls were forced to choose sides as they fell victim to a new breed of danger.  Stefan and Damon were later met with their greatest challenge yet — the arrivals of Elijah and Klaus, two of the “original” vampires.  As Klaus goes head to head with Damon and takes a special interest in Stefan, he is also seemingly focused on breaking the “Sun and Moon” curse by sacrificing Elena.  Yet no matter what action the brothers take to protect Elena, Klaus won’t be swayed from his mission, proving to be the most powerful vampire in existence.  Season three opens the door to learn more about Klaus and The Original Family as his motives for wanting Stefan on his side are finally revealed.  As Stefan sinks deeper into the dark side, Damon and Elena struggle with the guilt of their growing bond even as they work together to bring Stefan back from the edge.  The ghosts from Jeremy’s past have a powerful message they’re trying to deliver to him, not to mention the impact they’re having on his relationship with Bonnie. And as Caroline and Tyler grow closer, a war erupts between their families.  The series stars Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert, Paul Wesley as Stefan Salvatore, Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvatore, Steven R. McQueen as Jeremy Gilbert, Kat Graham as Bonnie Bennett, Candice Accola as Caroline Forbes, Zach Roerig as Matt Donovan, Michael Trevino as Tyler Lockwood, Matt Davis as Alaric Saltzman and Joseph Morgan as Klaus.  Based on the series of books by L. J. Smith, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is from Bonanza Productions Inc., Outerbanks Entertainment and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios with executive producers Kevin Williamson (“Scream,” “Dawson’s Creek”), Julie Plec (“Kyle XY,” “Wasteland”), Leslie Morgenstein (“Gossip Girl,” “Private”) and Bob Levy (“Gossip Girl,” “Privileged”). PopWrap Interviews Kevin Williamson

Kevin Williamson talks the crazy ending in the season finale, asking Sarah Michelle Gellar to play Rose, and much more in this PopWrap interview. "PW: Do you like that fans are still scratching their heads over the Vicki-Jeremy-Anna cliffhanger?
Kevin: [laughs] Oh, yes. I’m very excited about that storyline in particular. Right now I hope fans see it as a big question mark, because it should be."

"PW: Where did that idea come from?
Jeremy Gilbert
Kevin: Kayla Ewell. I just loved her. When we made the decision to kill Vicki, it wasn’t an easy one, but something I felt was important to the show because it needed to have a different kind of life. A moment to make people sit back and say, “this show is serious about genre storytelling.” And it worked. But I missed her. Right away I thought, “she can come back.” But then I thought, “dead people have to stay dead or we’re ‘Heroes.'" There here have to be consequences. Especially when people die. In that moment I came up with Jeremy being haunted by Vicky, but that felt stupid. But when Anna came around, everyone fell in love with her too – I mean, the Twitter outrage when she died alone proved that. Then we started playing off the idea that everyone in Jeremy’s life was dying, so I thought, “now there’s a story here!” I was waiting for the right time. It had to be earned. We’ve done werewolves, vampires, we’ve tried to keep it really grounded and now we’re in a place after all the witchy-woo-woo of this year that I think the audience will accept this additional element to our world. So now we’re going to do this whole haunting of Jeremy"

TVLine interviews Sara Canning about her Emotional Death Scene

It's truly sad to see a main cast member of the series be killed off the show. Now we have to endure reading an interview about how she felt filming the scene, but Sara Canning will always be remembered among the Vampire Diaries fandom, cast, and crew.

"TVLINE | What was your reaction upon receiving your final script? Were you surprised at all to discover the manner in which Jenna would be leaving?
Julie had explained Jenna’s death to me beforehand, so I wasn’t terribly surprised. I actually didn’t know that it would focus so much on Jenna and Elena, and what she feels her faults have been. Our characters had a similar moment in the beginning of Season 1, so it was challenging for me to try and address something that’s really at the heart of their relationship — Jenna going from Elena’s friend to her parental figure. It was really interesting to deal with that in the middle of all the fear."

"TVLINE | At least we know that dead people on Vampire Diaries usually pop-up again down the road!
I’m very grateful to Kevin and Julie for bringing me aboard this show and I really think the world of the cast and crew, so of course I’d come back. It would be much different to return to the show in that capacity, but I’d be open to it."

Zap2it talks Tyler's return and a shocking choice made by Damon.

Zap2it talks the newest episode of The Vampire Diaries, which will air tonight on the CW. Thank you Carina MacKenzie of Zap2it for the heads up and for posting this awesome interview. Finally, Tyler Lockwood returns to The Vampire Diaries and here is the little tidbit from the article.

"We're thrilled that he's back in town, especially since the story that unfolded between Tyler and Caroline (and, in some ways, Matt) remains one of our favorite parts of Season 2. That relationship does develop further in this episode, and there's one moment in particular that we think Tyler fans will really appreciate" You can read the rest of this awesome interview over at Zap2it.

Ksite, VampireSite Screening Roundup

VampireSite got a chance to interview Julie Plec at the Q&A session that was held at the screening of the newest episode of The Vampire Diaries, which will air tonight on the CW titled "The Last Day".

“The term ‘a lot of deaths’ is something that has been circulating on the Internet a lot from different sources. I think all I’ve ever said is that there will be some severe and tragic consequences, and the loss of life would be extreme over the last several episodes, so I wanted to dispel any number value that has been placed on anything in the spoiler universe,” she says. “But, you know. We said from the beginning it’s a vampire show, and in vampire shows, the stakes are high and the death count has to match that, because if we don’t follow through on the stakes that we’re setting out – if you don’t believe that the consequences are life and death, then we’re not doing our job. And unfortunately, we’ve set into motion, unfortunately for our characters, this ritual that needs a lot of sacrificial elements, and so if that ritual happens, and when it happens and how it happens, if it goes off without a hitch, there will be a lot of loss of life. Maybe what we were thinking of at the beginning of the year, we could have modified it a little bit, but yeah. We had to pay off what we set up.”- You can read the rest at VampireSite
"Plec mentions that Season 3 will be "The Year of the Originals," but she does not know yet - or is at least not saying - if Klaus or Elijah will be on for a full time basis next year. "That is a decision that gets made when we actually break story for Season Three," she says." -You can read the rest of this interview at Ksite

TV Chick talks with Candice Accola

Candice Accola talks Tyler, Matt, and much more in this interview with TheTVChick. I decided to quote her awesome comment about Lyme Disease and Show me Your Mumu.

"And I know you have a charity that’s very close to your heart. You are going to be working with Show Me Your Mumu to raise awareness of Lyme Disease. Can you talk a little bit more about that and how you got involved and how fans can get involved?
I got involved with the charity Turn The Corner. It focuses on raising awareness of Lyme Disease but most importantly the funds that are raised go towards researching Lyme Disease, how to properly diagnose it quicker and how to basically navigate around the disease itself. It’s varies depending on the tick that bites you. So there’s not really one strain of it, there’s multiple strains and a friend of mine that I grew up with, Teri Raser — I went off to LA, and she went off to college and we met up, and a couple of months later, we were texting and she was like “I got sick. I had to go home.” And I was like “well, that’s weird.” And a year later, she’s still sick and then another year later and another year later, and then eventually [she] was officially diagnosed and by that time — it was in its chronic form — with Lyme Disease. And I didn’t really know what that meant. So I sat up one night on my computer and started YouTube-ing and Googling, and really kind of learning as much as I could about a disease that doesn’t really have that many answers. So I’m not one to attach myself to something that I don’t really feel attached to, and this is something — there aren’t a lot of people that know about it. I really wanted to not only educate others, but most importantly, continue to educate myself because I just felt so ignorant to have someone I care about so much say “I have Lyme Disease.” And there’s this whole community of people that suffer with Lyme, and there’s so much going on within the medical community, that it needs to be talked about more. So I’m slowly starting to develop a partnership with Turn the Corner, the more that my schedule allows me to. My birthday’s in May, and May is also Lyme Disease awareness month. My friend who has the Show Me Your Mumu Line, she found this beautiful print, that has just enough green, and all the profits for the Mumu Shawl will go straight to Turn the Corner and my friend Teri named it. Her nickname in our family is “bird.” So it’s the Bird Mumu. So I’m really excited and it will be up on the website, showmeyourmumu.com, the first week of May." Read the rest at TheTVChick

PopWrap has some exclusive images from the "Klaus" episode. Make sure to tune into tonight's episode of "Klaus".

"Tonight's episode of "Vampire Diaries" promises to usher in a blood red sea of change as Joseph Morgan makes his debut as the long-feared vampire Klaus when the action flashes back to 1491.
This timewarp will not only show us how Klaus rose to power, but also give Nina Dobrev the opportunity to flesh out the pre-fang Katherine we only glimpsed in "Katerina." The episode is widely considered to be one of the show's most important to date."Read the rest of this interview at PopWrap

PopWrap: Candice Accola "You never know who will turn evil"

Candice Accola discusses her involvement with the Klaus storyline and much more in this exciting interview. Thank you @IHearttvd of twitter for the heads up on this article. Make sure to head over to Popwrap to read the rest of this interview.

"PW: Obviously a wolf also needs to return -- given how things ended do you think Caroline is excited to see Tyler again?
Candice: I think it depends on Tyler's intentions -- why has he returned and is Caroline a reason for that? That’s a timing thing as well – when will Tyler return? I think what’s so significant about these episodes is that the viewers are going to get such a history lesson. They’re going to have so many questions answered and it all builds up this sacrifice in the finale that does end up coming up. And when it does, you’re totally prepared for it – you have all the background information, you have all the history of all these new characters coming in. It'll be invaluable. Pay attention [laughs]."

TV Line: Present Day Klaus

Michael Ausiello of TVLine just released this awesome image of present day Klaus. This picture is very interesting because Klaus has a stake in his hand.  May be some random vampires are bothering him or may be Stefan and Damon are in front of him.

XFinityTV interviews Executive Producer Julie Plec

Sara Bibel of XFinity interviews Julie Plec and she talks Tyler's Return, Alaric surprise, and much more in this interview.
"When will Tyler return? Where does his mother think he is?
His mother thinks he’s off on some kind of spiritual journey. He’ll be back for the full moon, which is the last couple episodes of the season – the last day. It all takes place in a 24-hour period, which is the day of and the night of the full moon.

Every “Vampire Diaries” fan has his or her favorite couple. What can you tell me about the couples in Mystic Falls?
All the couples are about to realize that on the horizon there are difficult times in their relationship, for different reasons. Every relationship will be tested. Choices will be made. Things will change.

When will viewers first see Joseph Morgan as Klaus?
The first scene with Joseph Morgan is actually a flashback in our nineteenth episode, the one after this week. We go back and forth. We’ve heard the stories of Klaus but now we’ll actually get to see Klaus as he meets and woos Katerina with the intent of using her in the sacrifice ritual."

Buddy TV's "The Last Dance" Q&A Spoiler Preview. TV Guide MegaBuzz

Buddy TV has released a 5 question and answers preview of "The Last Dance", which will air this Thursday on the cw. Make sure to head over to BuddyTV to read the rest of the awesome preview.
"Question #5: How awesome is Matt Davis as AlarKlaus?

Answer: Very, very, very awesome. The opening scene alone is funnier than anything Davis has done on the entire show as Alaric (with the possible exception of the Chunky Monkey scene) and Klaus' assessment of the man he's possessing provides even more great lines. Matt Davis is good at being good, but he's even better at being bad, and it's enough to make me wish Joseph Morgan will never show up so Davis can play Klaus full-time."
TVGuideMegaBuzz HUGE SPOILERS. Thank you for the heads up TVDNEWS of twitter.
When will we actually see Klaus on Vampire Diaries? — Joey  *highlight to reveal*
NATALIE: Not until April 21, but in this week's episode — which also includes a shocking death — Klaus will use Alaric's body to infiltrate the group. He'll discover what Katherine couldn't tell him, no matter how much he tortured her: Bonnie is one powerful lady now, thanks to 100 dead witches. Expect not only a double cross while trying to take down Klaus, but a triple cross. So much crossing!

Entertainment Weekly: "Behind the Alaric Twist"

Thank you @ChrisMCtv of twitter for the heads up on this article. Make sure to head over to EW to read the rest of this interview after reading this tidbit.

"Since we were on the topic of (potential) Klaus casualties, we also asked Plec whether Isobel set herself ablaze willingly or under compulsion last week. “I love that people debate it, because I think it’s actually fun to think of either way, but very deliberately, we used the same language as in episode 115, with the guy that got hit by the bus,” she says. “At the end of each of them, the person who’s been compelling them says, ‘Okay, you’re done,’ and they say, ‘I’m done’ like they’re grateful. So it’s a compulsion like a suicide bomber. I have done the task that I was compelled to do, and now my reason for existence is over. So we deliberately echoed that same language to imply that her death had been written in the cards by Klaus already. Why I loved Isobel taking [Elena] to the cemetery and finding a work-around her compulsion, where she’s not allowed to say anything, is she was able to apologize for not being a good mother and to give Elena that before she did what she had to do. If anything, Isobel in death was able to give Elena a tiny bit of closure.” You can read the rest of the interview over at EW

“I hope that toward the end of the season, and into next season, that fans are really able to distinguish the difference between the characters and the actors, because he’s doing such a phenomenal job as Klaus, I want people to really see that and not be like, ‘Oh I hate you, you’re such an a**hole trying to kill Elena!’ He’s just an actor.…By the end of the season he might be either really hated or really loved.” You can read the rest of the interview here.

L.A. Times interviews Katerina Graham

L.A. Times Show Tracker interviews Katerina Graham about what's to come with Bonnie, Emily's return, and much more! Read the rest of this interview over at LATimesShowTracker.

"We saw what happens when a witch over-exerts herself with Grams [Jasmine Guy]. Is all this witchcraft going to be taxing on Bonnie emotionally and physically? Should we be worried?

Yes, you should be worried.

They can't possibly have Jeremy lose another girlfriend. That's just too much for poor Jeremy.

By the time you see and you watch all the episodes, that'll be the last thing you're thinking of.

Speaking of Jeremy, how is their relationship going? They're not starting off in the most relaxing of circumstances.

No, they're not. And all they can do is really be there for each other. They don't have much left but each other. Saving the town and keeping each other safe is so much of a responsibility, but they still have their little moments where they're together. You can tell that they have such a connection that they have to be really in love with each other."

NYP: Katerina Graham talks Season 2

Katerina Graham dishes to PopWrap about the rest of the season, death rumors, and relationships. Make sure to head over to Popwrap to read the rest of the interview.

"PW: EP Julie Plec referred to this series of six new episodes as The Klaus Chapter -- how does Bonnie factor in?
Kat: Before Jonas died he gave Bonnie her powers back and also gave her the message of how to kill Klaus. So she’s the only one out of the whole gang that knows how to kill Klaus -- and probably the only one capable of it. So there’s a lot of responsibility on her shoulders. Bonnie’s the only one who can save Elena and really puts herself on the line.
PW: Ever since Jonas did that freaky head grab where he returned Bonnie's powers, I've suspected she got more than she bargained for -- fair assumption?
Kat: That’s a very good conspiracy theory. As of right now, we only know that she’s gotten her powers back and this knowledge from Jonas but I won’t say there wasn’t more he gave her.
PW: Fans have also been worked into a tizzy over the "VD" preview featuring Bonnie doing a spell that makes her nose bleed. Is she biting off more than she can chew with this Klaus kill?
Kat: Bonnie always bites off more than she can chew [laughs]. That’s nothing new. But I’m glad that fans are in a tizzy because they absolutely should be – they should be scared to death."

Vampire Diaries: Executive Producer Julie Plec Previews The Klaus Chapter

Julie Plec dishes out about The originals, Salvatore brothers conflict, and much more with L.A.Times Showtracker.

“Damon and Elena’s closeness is a big obstacle in Stefan and Elena’s relationship,” said Plec. “Not because of how Stefan feels about it because he’s fully aware that Damon has feelings for Elena. It’s the decisions Damon makes and the actions Damon takes to protect Elena, which are in direct conflict often with the way Stefan would like the situation to be handled."

The Vampire Diaries (2.20) Synopsis "The Last Day"

The CW has released their latest Vampire Diaries synopsis for the April 28th episode. Thank you for the heads up VampireSite.

"NEVER IS A VERY LONG TIME — Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is willing to go to extraordinary lengths to prevent Elena (Nina Dobrev) from being a victim of Klaus’ (guest star Joseph Morgan) plan to break the curse. Damon’s actions put him at terrible odds with Stefan (Paul Wesley) and the tension that started brewing between the brothers over their differing opinions of how to help save Elena’s life blows up into full-scale conflict. Tyler (Michael Trevino) returns to Mystic Falls after receiving a disturbing phone call. With the full moon marking the arrival of the sacrifice ritual, Stefan and Elena spend a romantic day together — afraid it might be their last. Sara Canning, Candice Accola, Zach Roerig and Matt Davis also star. J. Miller Tobin directed the episode written by Andrew Chambliss & Brian Young (#220)."

Candice Accola of The Vampire Diaries answers Fan Questions

Robyn Ross of TVGuide took fan questions earlier today and was nice enough to ask Candice some of those questions. I love Candice Accola's answer to the Chicken and Waffles question!

"Do you like chicken and waffles?I've never had chicken and waffles! I know it's crazy I haven't been to Gladys Knight [and Ron Winan's Chicken and Waffles in Atlanta] or Rosco's in L.A. I like chicken, and I like waffles, so I think marrying the two would be a good idea.
Do you miss singing?I sing so much in my daily life, whether it's in the shower or in my living room playing terrible guitar. So, I feel like I get enough music in my life and eventually I'll start bringing it out more. But I sing constantly." You can read the rest of this interview over at TVGuide

Vampire Support: New Team Tyler Project

VampireSupport has made a collaboration with Michael Trevino who plays Tyler Lockwood on The Vampire Diaries. According, to @TVD_Chloe of twitter this is only just a preview of the project as well.
"Michael has had the chance to work with live wolves and he thought the perfect thing would be to raise awareness and funds to help save these beautiful creatures from extinction. We have ordered “Team Tyler” bracelets that are black with white font with a paw print. (Michael picked out the colors himself.) They will be available for order in about 3-4 weeks. (We will ship WORLDWIDE!) We are currently in talks with a wolf sanctuary in Southern California and are waiting anxiously for their reply! We will update you as soon as we hear from them! While we wait for the bracelets to be made, we currently have a “Team Tyler” shirt that you can order. All proceeds from this will go to the wolf rescue of Trevino’s choice."

Make sure to head over to VampireSupport for the latest updates about the project and also find out how you can help the environment as well.

The Vampire Diaries (2.18) 'The Last Dance' Synopsis

Last week was very frustrating because I was doing plans for Eyecon and I missed the chance to post the synopsis for "The Last Dance", which airs on April 14. Thank you VampireSite for keeping me up to date with the latest Vampire Diaries synopsis and images.

"DANCING WITH DANGER — As the high school prepares to throw a “1960s Decade Dance,” Elena (Nina Dobrev) starts receiving disturbing messages from Klaus via an unusual source. Bonnie (Katerina Graham) tries to reassure Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) that she is strong enough to help Elena, but a worried Jeremy asks Stefan (Paul Wesley) for advice. Caroline (Candice Accola) talks Matt (Zach Roerig) into taking her to the dance. Expecting Klaus to show up at the dance, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Alaric (Matt Davis) attend as chaperones, but Klaus is playing a complicated game that keeps them on edge. Finally, Damon comes up with a new plan of action that shocks and upsets everyone. John Behring directed the episode written by Michael Narducci (#218)."

EW: Exclusive scoop

Entertainment Weekly has some awesome spoilers this week on some of our favorite T.V. shows including Vampire Diaries. Here's a little tidbit from the spoiler chat, but make sure to head over to EW to read the rest of the spoiler section for The Vampire Diaries.

"But looking farther ahead, executive producer Julie Plec says we’ll get to see Elena’s and Stefan’s reactions to Damon’s decision to use mind compulsion on local TV news reporter Andie Star (Dawn Olivieri) to make her his substitute girlfriend/blood donor. “We won’t hit that for a few more episodes, but there will be that moment when Damon’s desire to distract himself from his feelings for Elena blow up in his face, and the allure of Andie starts to leave a bit of a sour taste,” Plec says. (Before that happens, will we at least get to see Damon take another bath? “Damn, I don’t know. I might have to go back and do a rewrite,” Plec laughs. “I feel like every time we’re like, ‘Well, we could set this scene in the bathtub… Oh, wait that won’t work.’”)" Read the rest over at EW

The Vampire Diaries (2.19) 'Klaus'

The CW has released the official description of the April 21 episode of The Vampire Diaries finally! Thank you @TVDNEWS for the heads up!

"KLAUS (GUEST STAR JOSEPH MORGAN, "BEN HUR") IS REVEALED --- Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) are furious when they discover that Elena (Nina Dobrev) has defied them both to make a new ally and take control of the plan to out-maneuver Klaus (Morgan). Disagreement over how to protect Elena leads to growing tension between the Salvatore brothers. Meanwhile, Stefan has his hands full trying to keep a confused and frightened Jenna (Sara Canning) safe. Flashbacks to 1491 reveal Katherine's (Nina Dobrev) introduction to Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Klaus, along with the origin of the moonstone curse. Elena learns shocking new information about Klaus' motives. Matt Davis also stars. Joshua Butler directed the episode written by Kevin Williamson & Julie Plec (#219)."

EW: Vampire Diaries 'The Last Dance' Exclusive Images and details

Entertainment Weekly has uploaded exclusive images from 'The Last Dance' episode which will air on The "CW in a few weeks. Bonnie (Katerina Graham) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen)
"In the April 7 episode, Bonnie will have learned a lot about how she can help Elena, and what it will take. ''It's big,'' Plec says. ''By the time we get to the dance, the tension is really high between Bonnie and Jeremy because he's legitimately afraid for her life. Bonnie, as a witch, is one of the only weapons that our team has against Klaus. And for Jeremy, who's lost two girlfriends already in his life — in addition to his parents — it's really hard for him to watch Bonnie gear up for battle. He's gonna go through a lot emotionally out of concern and anxiety, and Bonnie's gonna go through a lot because she knows that she can help in this fight.''
