Michael Ausiello: Scoop on The Vampire Diaries

            Michael Ausiello has confirmed three new guest stars heading to The Vampire Diaries.

"Question: Do you know any Vampire Diaries scoop? —Savannah
Ausiello: Trent Ford and Daniel Gillies have joined the show along with Lauren Cohan as centuries old vampires, Trevor, Elijah, and Rose. “They have deep ties to Katerina Petrova,” reveals exec producer Julie Plec. “They will be heavily featured in November Sweeps episodes ‘Rose’ and ‘Katerina’.”

"What are Stefan and Damon up to? Who has the moonstone? Don't lie to me, Caroline," she says as she chokes the fledgling vampire. Accola, her neck still red, says Dobrev plays her evil double role all too well. "When you see her coming it's 'Oh, man, that's Katherine! Something's gonna happen.' DEATH AT THE MASQUERADE BALL — Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) decide on a new plan to deal with Katherine (Nina Dobrev) at the Lockwood’s masquerade ball. Katherine calls on an old friend, Lucy (guest star Natashia Williams), to attend the ball with her. Bonnie (Katerina Graham), Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Alaric (Matt Davis) all do what they can to help Stefan and Damon, but Katherine has a surprise planned that none of them could foresee. Things take an ugly turn when Matt (Zach Roerig) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) start doing shots with their friends. Sarah Canning also stars. Charles Beeson directed the episode written by Kevin Williamson & Julie Plec (##207)."
