Awesome interview with Ian Somerhalder and Michael Trevino

Thank you @IHearttvd on twitter for the heads up! I'm really excited now for season 2 and I wonder what Michael means by villain because we saw in a recent spoiler how he seems to be an older brotherly type figure to Jeremy, but could this be referring to the synopsis that states Alliances will be made and unexpected friendships will be forged? Here are a few tidbits from the interview.

"Will Tyler be a villain?
Michael: Yes. Tyler was always a bully and a prick, but now that he has this supernatural ability, he’ll be a villain. Yes, definitely. You can’t just have Damon around, kicking people’s asses and being a punk. If they can write for me as well as they write for Damon, then it will be fun."
"Michael, what can you say about the evolution of your character this season?

Michael: I don’t know much. One big thing is that there’s Uncle Mason. Mason Lockwood is a younger, hipper brother of Mayor Lockwood (Robert Pralgo), Tyler’s dad, and he comes to town. He takes Tyler under his wing and will probably be there for awhile to explain to him why he lashes out all the time and has this rage. He’ll give reasons to that and school him on the Lockwood ancestry from 1864, the werewolf gene, where that came from and why they have it. Somebody will probably turn into a werewolf, at some point. It’s going to be a process. We’re not going to show all our cards right away."

Buddy TV Gives 5 reason's why all fans of TVD should be excited for The Premiere episode of Season 2 "The Return"

I picked two of my favorite reasons that Buddy TV posted.
I picked this as my top favorite reason because I've been stating for quite a while now that I truly believe Bonnie is going to become a force to be reckoned with.

"Bad-Ass Bonnie

Towards the end of the first season Bonnie was becoming better and better as she expanded her witch powers, and now she's definitely a formidable adversary for anyone she comes across, turning the token sidekick into someone not to be messed with."

I choose this reason about Damon because this should be quite interesting. I can't wait to see what happens at the end.

Damon's Moment of Realization

At the end of last season Damon kissed Katherine, though he thought he was kissing Elena. In the premiere Damon has a moment where he realizes the he fell victim to "doppelganger hijinks," and the moment alone is worth the price of admission and proof that Ian Somerhalder is giving the performance of his career on this show.

Interesting synopsis. In "Bad Moon Rising" I believe Caroline, Tyler, and Stefan will see this new danger and I believe this could be the new evil the first part of the Season 2 synopsis referred too.

The Vampire Diaries Episode 3 Brief Synopsis "Bad Moon Rising"

"Elena, Damon and Alaric go to Duke University to find Isobel’s research into the paranormal and look for clues to the mystery surrounding the Lockwood family; Stefan faces a new danger in the woods; Tyler makes a shocking discovery about Mason."


This is going to be good! This also helps with the speculation about what is going on in the woods because Michael had tweeted he was filming a scene with Candice and Paul in the woods. Could this possibly be the game changer? What is this new Danger? Also, could this possibly be the way for Caroline to be introduced into the supernatural as well as Tyler if he hasn't realized what is going on by now from "The Return" episode.

Vampire Diaries Season 2 Spoiler! Katherine VS VAMP

In this spoiler..it doesn't say KATHERINE turns this person, but that this person get's changed and comes face to face with Katherine and they get into a "Violent, vicious, fight".

"Our source tells us (confirmed to us by official sources), that Katherine ~Nina Dobrev confronts the character.

The character in question is female and she’s a new vampire! There will be a violent, vicious fight(Vamp v/s Vamp) between her and Katherine. Well, now that definitely narrows it down for you.

Whoever it may be and whatever happens next is for you to guess, but it’s an absolute certainty that season 2 of the “Vampire Diaries” will be amazing. Here’s to unforgettable season 2 “Vampire Diaries”!!
